Life Science Education Programme
Stockholm - The Swedish biotechnology industry organization SwedenBIO and Karolinska Education AB - entirely owned by the Karolinska Institute - will launch an education programme aimed at leading executives and board members in the Swedish life science industry. The seminar series will give an update on the latest medicinal advancements in areas such as genetics, cell therapy, new treatments for Alzheimer's disease, cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. The events will take place during 2004 and 2005 and include five breakfast meetings and one workshop day with three seminars and a networking dinner. The first breakfast seminar is scheduled November 19, 2004. SwedenBIO member companies are entitled to a reduced particpation fee.
