Joint Biotech Conference
Vienna - A joint Polish-Austrian Biotechnology Conference will open its gates from November 14-18, 2004 in Vienna. The event covers disciplines as diverse as biochemistry and biophysics, molecular biology, microbiology, biomedicine, bioorganic chemistry, bioprocessing and agri-biotechnology. The conference's goal is to give a review of biotechnological research carried out in Austria, Poland and other Central-European countries and to stimulate the international cooperation in the field of biotechnology.
The event will be co-organized by the Scientific Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Vienna, the Polish Academy of Sciences, Committee of Biotechnology, the Jagiellonian University Cracow, Department of Biotechnology, the Austrian Society for Biotechnology, the Austrian Society for Systems Biology and the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna. Abstracts should be submitted by September 15, 2004.
