Riga – JSC Grindeks has improved its half-year result in 2007. In the first six months of this year, the company‘s revenues grew by 25% to €37.1 million. Half of Grindeks made most sales in Russia (€18.8 million, +8%), and other ex-Soviet countries (with sales of €13.5 million (+50%). The firm is currently building up its production capacities. In August, Grindeks announced it will invest about €22 million in the construction of a new production facility that is expected to start production at the end of 2008. The enterprise also wants to build a purification plant and to start contract manufacturing of injectable products in Russia and Slovakia.
