BIA gets new chief executive

The British BioIndustry Association has named Glyn Edwards as its interim Chief Executive with immediate effect. Edwards stepped down as CEO of Antisoma Plc (2008-2011) in February of this year after two partnered late-stage trials failed. Prior to that, he worked in business development positions with Celltech plc and 3M UK plc. Mr. Edwards was the founder of Oros Instruments Ltd. From 1995-1998 he served as a Consultant of TAb through Elara Associates Ltd.
