Pfizer strikes deal with MorphoSys

Munich – MorphoSys AG had a busy end of the year, announcing the achievement of clinical milestones four, five, six and seven from previous collaborations and a new cooperation agreement with Pfizer. This is a direct result of the acquisition of Sloning BioTechnology GmbH in October, a purchase that gave MorphoSys access to a new antibody optimisation platform. The company will receive an upfront payment and annual license fees over the patent lifetime of the Slonomics technology platform.
