Kourim - The growing popularity of the Czech Republic within the biotech community was underlined by the decision of Swiss Lonza Biotec to expand its production facilities there. Lonza Biotec has invested Euro117 million in the country since 1992. It opened a new production facility in Kourim, Central Bohemia, in late-June, and now employs 270 people in the region.
